Gidroaviasalon '2000

147 aviation companies and institutions from Russia, and 30 foreign companies from 26 countries: Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, Canada, USA, Czech Republic, Iraq, France, Great Britain, India, New Zealand, Poland, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan etc. participated in the Gidroaviasalon '2000. This fact shows the popularity of Gidroaviasalon events. More than 200 journalists were among participants. Over 65 000 visitors attended the Exhibition during 5 days.

In all 145 representatives of 26 companies from the USA, Kanada,Japon, Korea, Irak, New Zeland, India, took part in the Scientific Conference. 73 scientific reports were given.

There were demonstrated 24 aircraft at outer aircraft static display. At the coastal ramp of the flight test base of the Beriev Aircraft Company there was static display of hydroplanes, where such famous amphibians as A-40 "Albatross" and Be-12P-200, new multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-200, light multipurpose amphibian Be-103 and light hydroplanes Che-22 "Korvet" and Che-25M, and light amphibian L-6 were located. Besides on the static exposition there were exhibited the floated moto-hange-glider MD-20, cutters and boats.

There was also the static exposition in the airport where the commuter airliner IL-114, multipurpose aircraft Su-29KS and Yak-18T, light multipurpose aircraft IL-103, ship-based fighters Su-27P, Su-30KN and Su-33 and a lot of helicopters including light multipurpose Mi-34, transport helicopter Mi-8, transport-mission helicopter Mi-8AMTSH, search & rescue helicopter Mi-14PS, transport helicopter Mi-26T and search & rescue helicopter Ka-27PS and transport Ka-32A were demonstrated.

There was wide and enthralling sight during show due to program of demonstration flights, which had advantages respect to the programs of other international events as there were the flights of maritime aviation, takeoff from and landing on water at Gelendzik bay, water entry and shore approach, firefighting by amphibians with landing on water for scooping as well as firefighting and rescue operations with participation of helicopters.

During 5 days of exhibition there was performed over 100 flights, with over 10 flight hours duration.

Aviation technics, exhibited at "Gidroaviasalon '2000":

1	The Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft designed at BERIEV Aircraft Company and manufactured at IAIA was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base. During the exhibition the aircraft set 24 world records.
2	The A-40 amphibious aircraft "Albatross" developed at BERIEV Aircraft Company was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base. During the exhibition the A-40 set 2 world records.
3	The Be-12P-200 amphibious aircraft designed for working out special fire fighting equipment of the Be-200 aircraft was developed at BERIEV Aircraft Company. The Be-12P-200 was demostrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base. The demonstration of water dropping was performed by it.
4	Light amphibious aircraft the Be-103 designed at BERIEV Aircraft Company and manufactured at KnAAPO, was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
5	The Su-27P aircraft of the pilot's crew "Test-pilots", created at Flight and Reaserch Center of the Research and Development Institute named after Gromov in 1992. The Su-27P performed aerobatic flights in the sky of the Gelendzhik Bay. The aircraft based in Krimsk.
6	The Su-30KN aircraft of IAIA performed aerobatic flights in the sky of the Gelendzhik Bay. The aircraft based in Krimsk.
7	The Su-33 ship-based fighter performed aerobatic flights in the sky of the Gelendzhik Bay. The aircraft based in the city of Gelendzhik.
8	The Su-29KS aircraft developed by JSC SUKHOI CDB, intended to test crew rescue systems of light aircraftр.It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
9	The Il-114 multipurpos aircraft developed by ILUSHIN AVIATION COMPLEX. The Il-114 is intended for passenger and light cargo transportation. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik airport.
10	The Il-103 light multipurpos aircraft of Lukhovitsky mashine-building plant developed by ILUSHIN AVIATION COMPLEX. Intended to perform passenger and light cargo transportation. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik airport.
11	The Che-22 "Korvet" amphibious aircraft three seats, twin engine small airplane amphibious aircraft, manufactured by Samara company "Hydroplane". It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
12	The Che-25M amphibious aircraft developed by Design Bureau of Samara State Aerospace University named after Korolev. Twin engine common purpose amphibious aircraft. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
13	The L-6 seaplane of Samara firm AERO-VOLGA. The L-6 is intended to transport 4-6 passengers. It was the first time when this aircraft was shown to the large audience. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
14	The "Akkord-201" aircraft of SPA "AVIA ltd.", with the original extending-retraction landing system with floats. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base
15	The Ka-27PS helicopter of Russian Naval Aviation, developed by KAMOV Design Bureau and intended to perform search and rescue operation at sea. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
16	The Ka-32A1 helicopter developed by KAMOV Design Bureau with JSC AERO-KAMOV on State fire fighting service and Moscow administration. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
17	The Mi-26 helicopter of JSC ROSTVERTOL demonstrated the possibility of extinguishing conventional fire in the sky of Gelendzhik bay. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
18	The Mi-8AMTSh helicopter designed by JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. It performed aeronautic flights in the sky of Gelenzhik bay. The Mi-8AMTSh was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
19	The Mi-34 helicopter designed by JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. It performed aeronautic flights in the sky of Gelenzhik bay. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
20	The Mi-8MT helicopter of Russian Ministry for Emergency Situation. It performed rescue operations at the water area of Gelendzhik bay. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
21	The EXEC 162F helicopter of Moscow firm AVIAMASTER is light helicopter for amateur pilots, made using American kids. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
22	The "Tsicada" light multipurpose amphibious aircraft manufactured by Samara firm HYDROPLANE. It is intended for two persons. It was demonstrated at the static exposition of Gelendzhik Test Base.
23	The MD-40 motor hang-glider of Taganrog JSC "RED WINGS", intended to one person. It was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik airport.
24	The Cessna C-180 aircraft was presented by Russian Federation of Aviation's Amateurs. It is intended to four persons transportation and preliminary flight personal training. The Cessna C-180 was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik airport.
25	The Yaк-18Т aircraft represented by RОSТО. It is intended to four persons transportation and preliminary flight personal training. The Yaк-18Т was demonstrated in flight and at the static exposition of Gelendzhik airport.
